SEMA 2021 Takes Over Las Vegas

Last week the 2021 SEMA Show took over the newly redesigned Las Vegas Convention Center after being away for 2020. The show is the highlight for car enthusiasts around the world, but the show felt different in 2021.

The pandemic has been limiting what everyone in the world can do, but the itch to get back out to shows has been there. It was evident that the number of people that were at the SEMA Show was ready to get back, but it also wasn’t the same as it has been in years past.

Many of the halls at this year’s show weren’t packed like they were in years past as many large companies did not attend the show. Is it a sign of what is to come or is it tied to the pandemic? We will have to wait and see.

Inside was a little less crowded, but outside was where everyone was at. Many manufacturers opted for an outside-only booth and for everyone attending the show outside was a great mask relief area.

There was plenty of entertainment outside from Ford Out Front to the Hoonigan Burnyard and people were definitely taking advantage of it. There wasn’t a time walking outside that there weren’t tires squealing or smoke in the air, it was an all-around good time.

Overall, it was great to be back out in Las Vegas at the SEMA Show and it was still something to be seen amidst the lingering pandemic. Be sure to check out the gallery below full of images and highlights from the 2021 SEMA Show!
