Off-Road Assassin
After a heated and long battle, racing veteran Rob MacCachren came out victorious at the 50th anniversary of the SCORE Baja 500. After 542 miles and over seven hours MacCachren crossed the finish line.
MacCachren took off the line first this morning. There was no qualifying for this year’s Baja 500, but starting positions were the position finished in the San Felipe 250. MacCachren is two-for-two this year and on pace to win the Trophy Truck class championship.
MacCachren was challenged by Cameron Steele for a good chunk of the race, but at the end of the day the McMillin family came home with three of the top five positions. Luke McMillin crossed the line in second, Ryan Arciero finished in third, Dan McMillin was fourth, and Andy McMillin rounded out the top five.
