Mint 400: Nothing Fits Vegas Better Than A Little Gold

Las Vegas is synonymous with plenty of things, but the glitz and glamour seen on the strip are high on the list. When it comes to off-road and especially racing in Vegas, the next best thing is gold.

OTSFF Motorsports recently unveiled a new wrap that was done just for The Mint 400 which brings in some gold to their standard red, white, and blue theme. The wrap has just enough flash to fit in while racing in Vegas but is still simple and clean looking.

“We’re racing in Vegas,” OTSFF Motorsports crew chief Adam Fitza said. “What a better way to create a theme than by adding gold. The cards on the hood say ‘Let us deal with your freight!'”

“It’s what we do at OTSFF (Ocean Transportation Services and Freight Forwarding),” Fitza continued. “Monique, Andres’ wife came up with it and I love it. My favorite part of the new theme is the gold Vision Wheels wrapped in the Toyo tires.”

This race is like nothing else out there and the legacy behind The Mint 400 makes it a favorite for teams every year since its return in 2008. This is the first year since its return that the race is not part of a season series, making the win even more important.

“The Mint 400 is a world-class event,” Fitza explained. “Huge media, huge purses, and a week of activities in Vegas!”

“Racing this race has a history,” Fitza continued. “It’s a global icon in the world of off-road. The course is great, the fans are badass and to have Tech on Fremont Street is amazing.”

Festivities kick off in less than 24 hours, and the truck will be in the vehicle parade on Wednesday, March 3rd. Having the vehicle driven in the parade and seeing fan’s reactions is one thing and the team will have a very special Toyo guest driving the truck.

Be sure to keep checking back all week long for updates, the live stream of the Mint 400 qualifying, and race day. What do you think of the new wrap? Tell us in the comments below!
