Its race week! The Mint 400 has officially started with the vehicle parade down the Las Vegas Strip. This is part of the week brings off-road to the general public.
There was everything from Unlimited Trucks to vintage racers, UTVs, and motorcycles in the parade. It took over 100 vehicles down Las Vegas Boulevard, leading competitors and fans alike to the official Mint 400 Kickoff Party on Fremont Street, home to the annual Mint 400 Off-Road Festival.
“Seeing the biggest names and baddest vehicles of the Mint 400 shut down the Las Vegas Strip never gets old,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “The Mint 400 Vehicle Parade is our way of bringing the thrill of the desert to the downtown area, and a great way to lead fans to Fremont Street for the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival over the next two days.”
“Hopefully, everybody who was on the Strip got a great view from wherever they were,” Martelli continued. “We hope they’ll get to join us at the Off-Road Festival as well!”
Festivities continue tomorrow with the with qualifying at 10:30 am. Qualifying is closed to the general public but will be streamed live on The Mint 400 website. Will you be watching?
