Off-Road Assassin

From Xtreme To Assassin: Racing Class 2000

Anyone who has moved on in life to greener pastures knows that it is not the name of where you go, but in fact your own name. Creating a reputation is something that no title can do for you and is something that takes work on your own part.

What the truck will look like come race day.

As the former editor of Off Road Xtreme, that time came, and it meant turning into an Assassin, an Off-Road Assassin. With the move and transition comes a long a project that was set to be completed and to finish what it was set out to do.

The truck started out as a 2005 GMC Canyon, but has since got a complete makeover to be competitive in MORE Racing series in Class 2000. Class 2000 is the sportsman leaf spring class, and is set up to be competitive and something attainable for enthusiats.

In an effort to be competitive in the class, everything has been gone through leaving the only factory GM part as the steering rack. Bumper to bumper the truck has been set up to be able to withstand the punishment it will receive.

Success comes in time and to finish first we first have to finish, but we are excited to be apart of racing and the community that comes with it. We take to the desert for MORE’s first race, Slash X Duel In The Desert, February 20th in Barstow, California.

We are hopeful to have a great season racing and enjoying time in the dirt pushing the products we have installed. Stay tuned for more updates as the truck is prepped and ready to take the green flag!
